Who is the study for?
This trial is for individuals who have aphasia, a language disorder, after experiencing a stroke at least six months ago. Participants should be able to move their left side and name some items but must not have other neurological diseases.
What is being tested?
The study tests a rhythm-based speech therapy app called Speech Hero. It aims to improve speech fluency in people with aphasia by using rhythmic patterns through an engaging video game platform.
What are the potential side effects?
Since the intervention involves non-invasive therapy using an app, there are no direct physical side effects expected from this treatment.
