Summary
This trial is testing if a diet low in salicylates can improve the quality of life for people with Aspirin Exacerbated Respiratory Disease (AERD). These patients often have severe reactions to aspirin and struggle with asthma, nasal polyps, and chronic sinusitis. By eating foods with fewer salicylates, the study aims to see if their symptoms can be reduced without the risks associated with daily aspirin use. Initial findings indicated that a low salicylate diet improves nasal symptoms and nasal endoscopy findings in individuals with AERD.
