Must not have
Children who are not in 3rd - 5th grade
Parents/Guardians of the eligible child, who are younger than 18 years old

Who is the study for?
This trial is for children struggling with obesity. It's designed to help them improve their eating habits and increase physical activity. To join, kids must be able to follow the program and have parental support. Children who can't commit to the lifestyle changes or have conditions that limit their participation are not eligible.
What is being tested?
The H-PACE program being tested aims to encourage healthy behaviors in children, like eating fruits and vegetables, reducing screen time, increasing physical activity, avoiding sugary drinks, and getting enough sleep. The effectiveness of this supportive care intervention will be measured using questionnaires and an accelerometer.
What are the potential side effects?
Since this trial involves lifestyle modifications rather than medication, there aren't typical side effects as seen with drugs. However, participants may experience difficulty adjusting to new routines or frustration if they struggle with meeting the program's guidelines.
