Summary
This trial focuses on a project called CARE, which is part of a larger study called RAISE. CARE aims to help transgender and gender diverse students who are at risk for sexual violence and excessive drinking.
Who is the study for?
This trial is for trans and gender diverse (TGD) college students who are at higher risk of sexual violence and hazardous drinking. It aims to improve the support they receive from college health and counseling centers.
What is being tested?
The CARE project tests a training program for college health providers to enhance their understanding, confidence, and practices related to TGD student care. The effectiveness of this training in making campus resources more inclusive will be evaluated.
What are the potential side effects?
Since this trial involves educational interventions rather than medical treatments, traditional physical side effects are not applicable. However, participants may experience emotional or psychological impacts during the process.
