Summary

This trial aims to assess how an online dance program can improve the quality of life for individuals with dementia or mild cognitive impairment and their care partners. The study will last for a year, with participants taking

Who is the study for?
This trial is for people aged 50 or older living with mild cognitive impairment or mild to moderate dementia, along with their care partners who spend at least 8 hours a week together. Participants must speak English fluently, be able to give consent, and have the ability to use Zoom on a digital device.
What is being tested?
The study tests an online dance program called 'Stories in the Moment' for its effects on quality of life and wellbeing in those with dementia or MCI. It involves weekly one-hour dance sessions over Zoom for 12 weeks, questionnaires before and after the program, and a focus group discussion post-program.
